Today telecommuting is common for a large number of people (currently there is about 35 million of them in the world), and it is predicted that it will become more than just a trend. Accelerated movement by the global public health crisis, an unprecedented number of high-profile companies – with tech giants like Twitter, Facebook and Amazon leading the way – have announced they will adopt a hybrid or flexible approach to remote work.

This means that hospitality facilities are transformed into remote offices for the local population, and especially for travelers. This is an excellent opportunity for hotels and F&B facilities to take advantage of the trend and adapt their offer to the needs and wishes of this emerging segment; enough outlets, free high-speed WIFI, meeting rooms and great coffee – are a good starting point.
